Dr. Oliver Brabänder
and learning from the blueprint nature

Dr. Oliver Brabänder was born in Oberhausen in 1972. He completed an apprenticeship as a hairdresser in his family's salon, which has existed since 1921, and became a German master hairdresser in 1993. Building on this, Dr. Brabänder completed a degree in chemistry at the University of Düsseldorf. He returned there for his doctorate on the internal structural effects of creatine on human hair.

Major stations in his professional life were in research and development on polymer and catalyst chemistry at the Max Planck Institute for Coal Research and in research, development and application technology of hair treatment products at Henkel-Schwarzkopf.

In 2011, Dr. Brabänder founded his first company in the chemical sector. Dr. Brabänder certainly brought with him the motivation to make the world a little better, both here and for later ventures.

In the course of his research and entrepreneurial commitment, he consequently acquired more and more know-how about biomimetics and biopolymers. Simplification is his motto, because his strength is to find the simplest and most efficient solution possible for every complex problem.

Since 2018, he has been conducting research and development in alliance with Fraunhofer UMSICHT and Fraunhofer IAP.
